I have known about this deal for a while but with all deals there are complications that could arise from public disclosure. When Antonio started blogging here it was more or less as a favor to a friend. In his new role Antonio will expand upon his written blogs giving updates from his experiences at tournaments and on the tournament trail. Think of what Daniel does at Full Contact Poker and you likely have most of the picture. Personally I think Antonio was a great choice for this and it surprises me that it took this long. Antonio is a very driven guy. The World Poker Tour needs some excitement around its brand with WPT Online and ClubWPT. My understanding is that Antonio will have a heavy focus on Europe where the World Poker Tour legally runs there online card room. I wish Antonio nothing but the best.
