Halloween
Oh boy. Just another excuse to party. That’s all I need. There is so much to fill you all in on for the last month. Right now I am going to only write about the last few days while they’re still fresh (well...kind of!). Austin, Texas. 2 days ago I flew to Houston to play poker with some buddies. My brother, Paul (aka Bird) deals the big game down there. The game was fun. We played late into the night. My good friend, Glynn (and one of my best customers...lol), flew down on his plane to play as well. We had some insanely sick hands. One hand (playing 3 handed) I had k-7; the board came k 7 2 and, of course, Glynn had the pocket deuces. That hand hurt, but not as bad as it could have considering the very next hand. I had A-4 of spades on the button. Glynn had 55 in the small...raise...call...2 3 5 with 2 spades on the flop. Holy shitballs. I mean my whole life I haven’t hit a flop that strong (well...you know what I mean!). We get it all in and to my amazement board does NOT pair, and before he got to enjoy his double up he had to give it right back to its rightful owner.
The next day (yesterday) we flew to Austin on his plane. I dressed up as a pimp for Halloween. I really get into Halloween. I had my pimp hat, my pimp belt, my pimp cane, the jacket, the cuffs; everything a proper pimp needs. We stopped off at some random forest party which was so freakin’ cool. This place is called the Enchanted Forest and it’s a random forest in the middle of the city (the owners just never sold to developers). They had performers and all sorts of cool things going on. It was such a trip. I would love to explain, but I wouldn’t even know where to start. There were crazy people and things everywhere. Remember to always eat your veggies before visiting the forest...lol. After the Enchanted Forest it was off to downtown where we proceeded to go to a club called Pure. They had zero tables available but somehow I convinced the manager to set up a table right next to the dance floor. It was beautiful. They must have had a sale or something because after a bottle of Grey Goose and a bottle of Cristal our bill was only $660 gratuity included. I never knew they had sales at clubs...lol. That $300 bottle of Cristal costs $1500 in Vegas. How insane is that!?!?!
Today I am hurting a bit. We just got back from tubing and waterskiing. Glynn’s backyard is a lake. (literally!)
Adios for now.
