Tuesdays with Phil Ivey, podcast with Barry Greenstein
Not long after Phil Ivey realized that he did not want a camera following him around all the time to film "Life of Ivey" Barry Greenstein realized that his phone calls with Phil were as entertaining as the videos were, and so Tuesday's with Ivey was born. By Barry's own admission the show is the biggest draw on Poker Road. What you really get a feel for is that Phil is deserving of all of the accolades he receives. His prop bets are jaw dropping but he is still able to retain a level of humility. The funny part about this weekly podcast is that it is Barry that really is able to carry the show. Barry is funny and Phil holds him in high esteem. If Phil did not hold Barry in high regard the show would not happen.
Sadly it would surprise me if the show is able to continue. Phil does it for Barry as a friend but you can tell from the tone occasionally that he would rather remain private.
I struggled for a long while trying to figure out where to put a link to this show but now that it has been online for a while it is pretty clear that it is just a short podcast. Weekly I will update with a synopsis on the shows and help you along if you are in a hurry and just want to listen to the juicy parts.

Very short recording, has some funny moments like when John Hennigan says he has "Doyle figured out". Always worth the listen obv.
Phil Ivey World Series of Poker Odds negotiations

This weeks show is not the normal phone call format. Phil is playing in Bobby's room (playing $3,000-$6,000) and so Barry takes the opportunity to interview him there. There are cameos from Eli Elezra and Sam Farha. At about 2 minutes into the podcast they talked about the way "posting" will work from random people, the idea being that if you want to gamble with Phil Ivey then Phil will need you to post the bet first. There was a funny moment at about 6 minutes and 30 seconds in where Sam Farha thought Phil would take 3.5/1 that he would win the main event (which of course is laughable).

This weeks call talks about the previous weeks bet on who would win the NCAA title (Phil originally wanted North Carolina but decided to take the field when Barry also wanted UNC). One interesting thing they talk about is that neither will take a prop bet at the moment without the amount being posted. This basically means that many people are trying to "freeroll" other people into making prop bets they do not plan on paying (this happens a ton with High Stakes Golf). The call is short so you should be able to get through it easily.
