Top Live Tournament Events in October 2015

Look ahead to the biggest and best live events in October 2015

If you plan on playing live No-Limit Hold ‘em tournaments in October, I’ve outlined some of the scheduled events in the United States.

The WSOP Circuit tournament series begins its twelfth season in August and features an estimated 25 stops - 19 domestic and 6 abroad – with buy-ins ranging from $365 to $1,675. Three WSOP Circuit events are scheduled to start in October at the Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana, Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN and Harvey’s Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe, NV.

The Heartland Poker Tour has three more stops starting in October at the Kennel Club in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg, MS. The HPT Tour broadcasts the Final Table of 6 players on regional TV.

The main events at all these tournament locations often have satellite and super satellite qualifiers, and first place prizes over $100,000.

Plenty of poker tournaments throughout the fall season through the end of the year, so get in the game and schedule your travel accordingly with the October events below.
