NL400 99 push with two takers

Describe your hand:  Both of their stacks were low so it didn't make since to set mine, I was hoping to get it heads up but both came.  Looking at the percentages I was a favorite over both hands but with their stacks there was no folding, if a flop came with a Q if I call I am guessing.  In position I would mix up my play depending on my opponents tendencies.

this one I dont like.  The only way I can consider it is if Kerios is totally spewing and I know his range to cold call a 3bet oop is very big(which apparently he does).  Even then we still have to worry about missy having a hand better than 99 that he 3 bet with, does he 3bet with worse pairs than 99?  I think this is a situation that you are praying for a race and your prayers will be answered only about 1/4 times.

Couple of things with this hand, I considered doing the graph because Missy was 3 betting every other hand and was on monkey tilt.  But I moved her off of a few hands with similar aggressive plays, she just had a hand here.  The A8 call behind felt priced in I guess.  It was very conceivable to me that Missy would have laid the hand down (because she had previously) at that point I don't know what the A8 would have done, I think the A8 had the same read I had, Missy was on tilt but he/she didn't know what to do about it.

If both players folded it wouldn't have shocked me given the action that went down previous to this hand, you can see those hands by hitting the rewind tags.

in a a vacume this is pure spew, im in total agreement with flash. If missy wasn't uber tilting atm this is a clear fold, but with that it is very close since the 3bettors range is like 1010+ and AQs+ or better.

good thing I won the pot then, otherwise it would seem silly.  There is no possible way that what you said regarding her three bet range was true.

Would we have seen this hand had you lost? In spots like this that I run into the board normally has an A hit and I get stacked. One thing that seeing how the hand plays out and seeing the hole cards of the players involved it can sway the way we would think about the hand.

hey, after all the best hand won , lady luck was on your side on that hand

well I can definitely hear criticism, I have shown many losers, some of those threads are just buried.  From what I have seen people mostly show losers, so I thought it would be nice to go the other way.  Personally I think it was a situational play given my read on Missy.

The point of my original post was to point out that I had a read and went with it.  If I gamble occasionally that just helps my table image.  Flash and Silvashark might be correct but calling it a spew and limiting someone on tilt to a ridiculously small range is just that, ridiculous.

I will happily post a loser.  Enjoy.

Here was another, on the river I read this player as weak, with the call call.  He could have certainly had a flush draw here but I wanted to see how committed he would be to a hand like AQ.  I play a lot of short stackers like this, once they get a bit of a stack they don't want to lose it all unnecessarily.  I am not crazy the way they played 77 here but it won.  So be it.

btw here was another hand from that session that played the exact same way, I sat at this table because of the action I was observing, so i was looking to play very aggressive with Missy.

One hand that wasn't recorded because I wasn't sitting in was where Missy played a flush draw very aggressively heads up against daapprentice for about a $700 pot, that also contributed to my read.

I didn't intend to offend you with my comment, was just bad question I suppose. Your light years ahead of my play, at your level its more about reads and knowing your opponents. Which clearly your in tune with while playing. I apoloigize as I'm a funk as with poker atm.

I find I generally post hands in which I either loose or win, the most money with. This may not be the best approach as there are plenty hands where difficult spots come up. Just that the big hands+/- are easy to pick out of the hand history.

Glad to see you playing keep up the work you do.
