Great first day on the felt

Thanks for the bankroll Beanie, it was a great first day, doubled up my bankroll in 02-04 cent then moved up to 5-10 cent and started decent but played one terrible hand and donked off a quick $5, was gonna hit the bed but decided to play a $1 buy in tourney and felt like I played very well, played solid and stuck with my reads. It worked out as I finished 1st out of 84 players and more then tripled my bankroll, thanks for the deposit your the man.

Yeah Welcome to the Bluff family. Don't be in a rush to jump levels Rome wasn't built in one day.

Thanks guys, yeah Matte86 I know it was a bad choice to jump up only after doubling my BR I was pretty pissed about it too, especially being that I was doing well at the 5-10 cent tables and the loss wasnt to a bad beat or anything I just played the hand terribly, could have got away from it barely losing anything heeeee haaaaawwwwww. Gonna follow the plan and stick to 2-4 cent until BR warrants the move. As far as Beanie's rules for the losing $3 and quitting for the day, thats losing $3 from whatever you began the day with right? not if I get up $10 and then lose $3 I have to quit, I actually have to be down $3 for the day right? Thanks for your help.

Well Johnny, tbh I think you have a lot to learn on BRM. If you get you BR up to $10, then you BR is now $10, if you loose $3 quit. It's as much about protecting you BR as building it.

@matte86 i right, it's great that you won but a big part of this is to stay mentally in the game.  Sure it's easy to look at this as free money but money is money and it sucks to lose it.

Luckily you were bailed out and hopefully that will serve you well.  Just make sure you become part of the community and post blogs of your sessions and we will all help your progress.

Welcome and yes what Matte86 said, "stay in the game". Look forward to following your progress, Honus
