just had my first gme on doyles room cash table $2-$4 i bought in for 20 BBs $80 and played 10 hands in a session of 8:38 and net won $626 just thought id share it with you i uploaded the hand history of this session hopefully you can learn from it as i had loose aggressive players on my table and had to use there own style of play against them to get my premiums paid off please comment if you think there is anything i can learn in return thanks

ok this is my theory on short stack play once you choose your table you should gage then how many BB you need to buy in with is the pre flop betting big , how many blinds are the pre flop raises too etc so tables i like is low pre flop raises as you buy in for less BBs hence see cheap flops for your marginal hands as for instance if a raise comes in to 4x and you hold AK your re raise will be 12-16 BB playing short stack putting that bet in aint mathematically good your putting over half your stack in before even seeing a card flop comes 9 high and your re loading this i see is non profitable play why i choose weak opponents you dont get rich from better players table choice is crutial i spend more time finding a table than sitting at a session you wouldnt sit at a table with phil ivey negranu etc when you have joe bloggs just sensible planning is needed

short stack theory is certainly applicable to short handed play, possible more so in fact.  But you have to open your range, a hand like A 10 wouldn't be playable in most instances in full ring.  3 handed that is probably an all in.  So it takes some adjustment for sure.

Well it is great to have you join the site. I like your approach. Table selection is very important, Do you find it difficult playing shortstacked on shorthanded tables. I trying to build my bankroll to a point were I can play higher limits with sort of similar BR management as you, limiting the % you have on the table as well as putting in a stop loss limit. I will be following your posts as they are extremely interesting to me.

i may not be a bankroll guy yet but i have read and filled it in i dont mind if you would like me to join this team i would be quite happy too but i use my own bankroll i try stay with in 5%-7% of my bankroll and try profi of 25% in a session then sit out and move to another table with again 5% , so say i sit a session with $50 i usually work on a basic bankroll management so win or lose 25% of the 5% i sat with so if my sessin dropfrom$50 to $37.50 i wil leave if it increases to $62.50 i will leave . this was a fluke session i dont just sit on any table for sake of playig pokr i study 3-4 tables and watch the play i ten choose my position on certain styles that i love to play against gain position and wait for ther mistakes this is basic online poker bank roll building.

My bad, wasn't intended to be a personal question I can see how it could come across. None the less so many new people everyday. Great for the site and as well showdown for finding lighting in a bottle.

He is not a bankroll guy, so he might not get exactly why you are being so personal.  I would expect to see a lot more people that aren't just doing bankrolling or short stacking soon.
